Young Adult Retreat – Living God’s Call!
This retreat is for young adults, single and married. The day begins with Mass at 8 AM, followed by continental breakfast, presentations throughout the day, and lunch. The retreat concludes at 2 PM. Mission Appeal This Weekend! This weekend we welcome Fr. Ostrowski from Divine Word Missionaries. He is our Archdiocesan assigned mission preacher for this year. I realize that we just had my good friend Fr. Augustine Mbiche from Tanzania last weekend that also made an appeal, so I apologize for these two appeals being on back to back weekends. The original plan was for this weekend’s appeal to be the weekend of July 8, however, shortly before that weekend, we were informed that it needed to be rescheduled and this weekend was the only one that worked out.

I thank you for your generosity in whatever you may be able to offer, and I ask for your understanding for these two mission appeals that are so closely scheduled together.

When we think about it though, God is always blessing us, and God has blessed each of us this past week. The Lord simply asks that we return joyfully the blessings that He so generously gives to us. I thank you for your Support of Fr. Augustine last weekend, and I thank you for whatever you may be able to offer this week.

Deacon Discernment Day – What is the diaconate?
For men even remotely interested in the diaconate,
single or married, between the ages of 25 and 59, a
discernment day with your wife, if applicable, to
explore this ministry with Mass, prayer, reflections,
Q&A, and a lot of information about deacons, the
discernment process, the application process, the
formation program, and the integration of Holy
Orders with marriage and family. No charge but

2nd Annual For the Love of Women Luncheon
& Expo! Love INC is hosting this event at Deer
Run Golf Club, 8661 Deer Run Dr., on Monday,
September 24, from 1:30 - 3:30 PM. The guest
speaker this year is Pastor Zipporah Bogonko. The
Lunch will be buffet style and will include a variety
of breads, freshly sliced ham/turkey/roast beef,
