Deacon Discernment Day – What is the diaconate?
For men even remotely interested in the diaconate,
single or married, between the ages of 25 and 59, a
discernment day with your wife, if applicable, to
explore this ministry with Mass, prayer, reflections,
Q&A, and a lot of information about deacons, the
discernment process, the application process, the
formation program, and the integration of Holy
Orders with marriage and family. No charge but

quickly this year, we would greatly appreciate some
helping hands with our fall clean up. We are
planning for Saturday, November 3 from 8 AM to
noon and Saturday, November 10 from 8 AM to
noon. Please bring any tools you have to help clean
up the leaves and plants and get our grounds ready
for winter. If you have time on another day that
would work better for you, please call or email the
parish office to let us know when you plan to stop
by and do what you can do to help.

(638 Mill Street) is hosting a Turkey Bingo,
Saturday, November 10th from 5:30-8:00 PM in the
school gym. Concessions will be available, $1 per

Thanksgiving Food Basket Packing & Delivery

Chaska Comminity Center Community Room (Directions)
Volunteers are needed on Saturday, November 17th to help Love INC and West Union Lutheran Church deliver Thanksgiving Baskets to local clients in the Eastern Carver County area. Volunteers may be couples, families, youth groups…anybody who wants to spend a few hours on a Saturday to help spread God’s message of love. Volunteers should report to the Chaska Community Center Community Room at 10 AM to help assemble food baskets using food donations received from the community. Each volunteer group/family will be assigned 2-3 families to whom they will deliver food baskets, spend a little time with each family, and share a prayer with them.
